How To Excel at Anything
 
Whether it's learning to play an instrument, or taking up a creative art, progress is based on a fundamental principles that can be universally applied. To truly excel, we must put into practice certain strategies that will allow us to grow at our peak potential.
 
Practice Makes Permanent 
People tend to say that 'practice makes perfect' but really, practice makes permanent. Whatever you do repeatedly will ultimately become a habit. Engage in proper practice so that you can progress, not just get good at staying in the same place. 
 
Get a Coach
No matter what you are trying to get better at, THE best strategy is to get someone who has already been where you want to go and have them train you. They have the experience that you can't learn from a book on how to get better and will help you cut your learning curve in half. 
 
Consistency Over Intensity
Many people think that one over the top workout is going to get them fit when really, it won't. Consistency is so much more important than intensity when it comes to growing a new skill. Commit a set amount of time every single day to the thing you are striving to get better. Implement it into your daily life and you will notice results almost instantly! 
 
Grow in Groups
If you want to get good at something, it is a must that you surround yourself with people that are also along the same path. Surround yourself with both people that are on your same level to bounce ideas off of, as well as people that are better than you that will help to raise you up. 
 
Enjoy The Process
If you don't enjoy the learning process, you will never stay with it until mastery. Learn to love the parts of the journey that are hard and appreciate the progress you have made so far. Reward yourself at the milestones you set and make sure to keep your eye on the vision of where you want this to go. 
 
No matter who you are, I believe there is tremendous value in taking up a new sport, art, hobby, or anything that is new to you. Take it one day at a time, enjoy the journey, and you will reach excellence in your area of choice in no time.

We are Certified by the Canadian Standards for Translation Services (Canadian General Standards Board approved by the Standards Council of Canada) CAN CGSB  131.10-2008 and by the ISO 17100 Certification granted by the Austrian Standards Institute and the Language Industry Certification System (LICS). We have been certified under the European Standards (EN15038) since 2007, and now the EN has been replaced by ISO 17100
