Your concerns addressed!

We have received some concerns stating that it is difficult to get to work with us; we fully understand the concern as it is a true statement. Given that we are high quality driven, we are very strict at screening our translators and interpreters.

Check out our requirements

After we have all your documentation verified, we conduct an interview, have a contract signed and only then, contractors become part of our team. We assign the jobs based on credentials, skills, competencies and professionalism (not just because someone is on the database).

Soon the OCCI Tier Accreditation System will help resolve some of the issues for contracting Community Interpreters in Ontario.

We appreciate the patience of those who have applied, we can only respond to those who qualify. Thank you

Legal fairness demands protection of the right to interpreters

"Interpreting services are crucial inside courts if people whose first language is not English are to be able to pursue and defend their legal rights. These services are just as crucial outside courts so that victims, people in distress, or under investigation can understand their rights and comprehend the nature of often complex legal proceedings. The provision of these services is simply a matter of fairness."
