"Native English speakers are infamously unable to speak languages other than their own. As well as being a professional handicap, this has been shown to hinder exporters and hurt trade."

"Tokyo remained silent Wednesday over a potential visit to Hiroshima by U.S. President Barack Obama, even after the White House said he is considering making one on the sidelines of a Group of Seven summit next month."

"There are between 6,500 and 7,000 languages spoken worldwide. Include argots – the characteristic language of a particular group – and that number climbs ginormously."

5 Reasons Why You Should Have Your Goals in Writing

We have all set goals for things we want to achieve. Maybe it was at the beginning of the year or after a Major milestone. Regardless of whether you have them written out, have an idea of what they are, or haven't thought about it for a while, writing down your goals has major benefits when it comes to your ability to achieve.

Here are 5 of the Main reasons why you should start writing down your goals:

1.) Clarity is Power
Writing down your goals gives you a clear picture of what you want out of life. Even if you already know what you want and what you're after, writing everything down can give you an higher level of clarity.

2.) You're More Likely to Actually Achieve Them!
Countless studies have been done that have shown that people who write down their goals perform significantly higher, make more money, and are happier than those who don't.

3.) It Inspires You to Take Action
Having all your aspirations out on paper will fuel you to go out and achieve them. Seeing your goals on paper makes your brain think you are one step closer to having those goals, which inspires you to make them into a reality.

4.) Your Goals Become Easier!
Thinking about a big goal can get a little scary. We all have those thoughts of "that seems really hard" when thinking about some goals we have. When we write them down, it gives us a better understanding of the action we need to take and breaks down the steps so it doesn't seem that scary anymore, it's actually easy!

5.) You Will Be Happier
Happiness is rooted in your progression. For us to be happy, we need to grow and progress. Progress in our relationships, career, health, or any other area will quickly boost our happiness. It's simple:
Goals = Progress = Happiness

PS. For extra effectiveness, read your goals every day as soon as you wake up and/ or before you go to sleep. This puts you in a mindset to take action that day towards their achievement.
