Our Power is our Care, Our Power is our Presence!

"The Translation Bureau is solidifying its position as a centre of excellence for linguistic services and supports the Government of Canada in its commitment to promoting official languages."

A new study on second language learning has recently taken the British media by storm. A range of headlines – from the BBC to the Daily Mail and The Guardian – all trumpeted the depressing message that it’s impossible to become fluent in a foreign language after around age ten.

Babies are speaking to us all the time, but most of us have no clue what they're saying. To us non-babies, it all sounds like charming, mysterious, gobbleydegook. To researchers, though, babbling is knowable, predictable, and best of all, teachable.
Our Business Workshop was a Success!

The Professional Development Workshop, organized jointly by Multi-Languages and the Association of Professional Language Interpreters - APLI, brought together Translators & Interpreters to learn about Business practices including accounting, time mastery, and finances from experts across different industries.

We would like to thank our speakers:
  • Francisco Arizmendi - Events Manager - Freshbooks
  • Lucia Hernandez - Freelance Translator and Interpreter
  • Kim Pines - President, Translations.CA - Treasurer & Chair, Communications, Language Industry Association of Canada (AILIA)
  • Lola Bendana - Director,  Multi-Languages Corporation - Language Industry Association of Canada (AILIA) Board. Ontario Council on Community Interpreting (OCCI) President. Business Coach

Benefits of Apple Cider Vinegar

Apple Cider Vinegar is one of the most popular types of vinegar to support a healthy life. It has been known to have many benefits including weight loss, reduced cholesterol, lower blood sugar level and improved metabolism. Here are some of the top benefits to ACV.

Weight Loss
Studies have shown that ACV has been proven to help you lose weight. It contributes to increasing satiety, helps you eat fewer calories and leads to significant weight loss over an extended period of time. If you want to lose weight, incorporate 1-2 tbsp of ACV every morning.

Lowers Blood Sugar
By far, the most successful application of vinegar to date is in patients with type 2 diabetes. Everyone should benefit from keeping their blood sugar levels in the normal range. The most effective (and healthiest) way to do that is to avoid refined carbs and sugar, but apple cider vinegar can also have a powerful effect.

Improves Heart Health
Heart disease is currently the world's most common cause of premature death.
It is known that several biological factors are linked to either a decreased or increased risk of heart disease. ACV has been linked to reducing your risk of heart disease and promotes optimal heart health.

Fights Against Cancer
Cancer is a terrible disease characterized by the uncontrolled growth of cells.
There is a lot of studies that back up anti-cancer effects of apple cider vinegar.
In fact, numerous studies have shown that various types of vinegar can kill cancer cells and shrink tumors.

Even though ACV may not have a drastic change in the quality of your health, it will contribute to improving your overall health and well-being. Take 1-2 tbsp a day first thing in the morning to start experiencing some of the incredible health benefits of Apple Cider Vinegar.
