Translation time and cost thwart deportation attempt


"Canada Border Services is dropping its attempt to immediately deport a suspected war criminal because of the cost of translating documents into French".

A few members of the Language Industry Association of Canada AILIA are concerned that translation is being used as an excuse, when in reality, many AILIA members would have been able to do the job in an efficient and cost effective manner.
