"Ample research shows that medical interpretation is a necessary component of health care for people with limited English. Without proper interpretation, doctors can misunderstand patient complaints, inaccurately diagnose their conditions, and prescribe inappropriate treatments.
Patients receive medications but may not know how to take them.Often, patients with limited English don't even make it to the doctor's office at all. Studies show that patients with limited English are less likely than other patients to have a regular source of health care."
"Colours are easy, right? They're one of the first things you learn as a kid. But what if "blue" and "green" were the same colour? Or "light blue" and "dark blue" weren't? Well, guess what: there are languages out there that do exactly that."

Empowerment Tips
What are the benefits of blending or Juicing?
  • Helps to detox and alkalize our bodies
  • Boosts our immune system
  • Provides us with lasting energy
  • The body receives high concentration of vitamins, minerals and enzymes
  • Aids the digestive process
  • Helps you absorb all the nutrients in fruits and vegetables (phytonutrients) - pure nutrition
  • Substances in green smoothies prevents cells from DNA damage
  • Has antibacterial properties
  • Reduces inflammation
There are thousands of combinations you can use. The best ratio is 3 portions of green vegetables per 1 portion of fruit. If you are new to green drinks, start with a higher fruit ratio.
Sample recipe: spinach, cilantro, ginger, cucumber, lime or lemon and 1 fruit (apple, banana, mango, pineapple etc.). You can add flax and/or chia seeds for extra nutrition.
It is better if you drink it within 15-20 minutes of preparation to avoid oxidation, however, if not possible, you will still get the nutrients.
“Besides the inherent nutritional value, one of the main keys to its quality is the fact that it’s green chlorophyll rich. This is important because chlorophyll builds blood. And it’s blood that sustains and builds your body. How does it build blood? The chlorophyll molecule and the heme molecule, at the center of your blood’s hemoglobin, are essentially identical in structure. The only difference is that the center of the Heme molecule is Iron and the center of the Chlorophyll molecule is Magnesium. This near identical structure is one reason why green drinks are such a great blood builder. And healthy blood means a healthy body.”  Dr. Robert Young
Green smoothies are so important to our health that we are running this article again.
