Our Power is our Care, Our Power is our Presence!
An interpreter was at risk of being subpoenaed to testify before congress to divulge the contents of a confidential high-level bilateral meeting between President Trump and Vladimir Putin. Beyond the ethical and legal dilemma in this case, here's why the interpreter's testimony -- or her notes – would have not add any clarity in this case.

A video of Eminem‘s sign language interpreter has gone viral after she kept up with the rapper’s rapid-fire pace.
Holly Maniatty, who has previously signed for Jay-Z, Wu-Tang Clan, Beastie Boys, Snoop Dogg, and more, joined the star as he headlined Firefly Festival in Delaware earlier this month.

How to be More Confident

To be able to pursue the things in life that are outside of our comfort zone, we must have confidence. Confidence in our ability to achieve the things we're after and to take the leap of faith into the unknown. Here are 4 keys to being more confident.

Visualize the Future You
Lack of self-confidence often comes from a poor self-image that is often inaccurate. Take time every day (ideally morning & night) to visualize the person you want to become. How do they walk, speak, interact with the world. Take this on as a daily practice and you'll feel yourself become instantly more confident.

Environment is EVERYTHING
You are the sum of the 5 people you spend the most time with. It is critical to surround yourself with people that lift you up. Surround yourself with people that have a lot of confidence in themselves and you will see your confidence naturally increase.

Intentionally Move Towards Discomfort
Neale Donald Walsch famously said "Life begins at the end of your comfort zone" If you want to build real confidence, you need to consistently find ways to put yourself in uncomfortable situations. Whether it is giving a speech, having a tough conversation, making the hard sales call, these will all build an unshakable confidence.

Set Yourself up to Win
Many people set goals that are so unrealistic, it actually sets them back. It is great to set unrealistic goals, and, your means for achieving the goal must be realistic. Creating plans for the things you want to achieve is the quickest way to accelerate your success. Clear plan = goal achievement = confidence boost.

We could all use a little more confidence in our day to day lives. Confidence to achieve in our professional life, confidence to show up fully in our relationships, and confidence to achieve what we're striving for. Implement these 4 strategies and feel your confidence increase instantly.
