"Machine translators, however remarkable, are not yet clever enough to anticipate the vast variety of contexts from which meaning emerges."
The book "How to get it right when contracting Conference Interpreting services" by Helen Campbell and Lola Bendana will be available in hard copy in January.

We will offer free hard copies to educational institutions, clients, government organizations and those who can have an impact educating the public and advocating on the importance of quality interpreting.

The authors would like to thank the following expert Conference Interpreters who contributed with this book:

Andrew Clifford
Caroline Napier
Jacques Roland
Taous Selhi
Izabel Souza (formerly Arocha)

"The world’s most powerful computers can’t perform accurate real-time interpreting of one language to another. Yet human interpreters do it with ease. Geoff Watts meets the neuroscientists who are starting to explain this remarkable ability."

Empowerment Tips

Finding Your Purpose

We were all put on this earth for something greater. We are all meant to do something with the time we were given. We all have a purpose that must be pursued with abandon. We all have something that will push us to be great. Once we find it, our life takes on a whole new meaning. How do we find it? Here are a few ways to get you started:

Take More Action
No matter what it is, keep taking steps forward. To find what you were made to do, you need to experience what you don't like. Don't over think it, just keep going. This will help you figure out what you don't like as well as what you're truly passionate about.

Start With The End In Mind
A goal cannot be achieved without the vision of its completion. Reverse engineer what you want and visualize the end result. By doing this, you gain major clarity on where you want to go and what has to happen for you to get there.

Question Yourself
Many times, we forget to ask ourselves what we really want. We are stuck going through the motions and rarely ask ourselves why. Make it a habit to question the things that you're doing and ask yourself "are these actions really helping me get to where I want to go?"

Do Something Different
When we fall into a certain pattern, a lot of times we tend to forget why we are doing it in the first place. When you feel like you don't know where to go, refocus and try to do something different. This gets you out of your head and allows you to remember what's important.

Everyone was put on this earth for a reason. It's time to define what that reason is for you. It's time to realize your purpose and go all in on it. It's time to live your life to its full potential.

"The Bombay High Court on Wednesday quashed a FIR, chargesheet and proceedings in a case of rape, unnatural sex and cheating after the complainant herself filed a petition for quashing it."

"Just imagine you are a consecutive interpreter, which means you possess an appropriate level of the target and source language, knowledge of the surrounding world and the subjects of speech, good memory and other vital language skills like listening, understanding, speaking and grammar."

Board Break Experience
2017 is quickly approaching and brings with it, the future. Many people will make resolutions only to come to the end of the year and realize that many of them have been accomplished.
Statistically, only 8% of people that set out to achieve a New Year's resolution actually achieve them. That means that 92% of people give up on what they set out to accomplish.
January 4th, 2017, you will learn how to overcome this statistic.
Many people have inspiring visions, exciting dreams and uplifting goals but sometimes will fall short. It's time to change the story. It's time to turn our aspirations into achievements. Join us on January 4th to find out how.
