Valentine's "Puppy Love" Benefit
Mahalo to all of our dedicated volunteers, generous supporters, and over 250 guests who made our 9th annual "Puppy Love" Valentine's Benefit at the Four Seasons Resort such a huge success. Our inspiring graduate teams and puppies in training touched the hearts of many, as those in attendance learned about the many ways that dogs can help people in need. Over $250,000 was raised to help us continue providing specially trained Assistance Dogs and lifetime follow-up support free of charge. Mahalo for all of the support!

Congratulations Maria and Service Dog Shadow

A big congratulations to ADH's newest graduate team Maria and Service Dog Shadow. This dynamic duo is a match made in heaven! Maria is 25 years old and currently attending Kapiolani Community College. Shadow will be her constant companion, helping Maria open doors, carry bags, and retrieve items that are out of reach. Maria says, "In the brief amount of time that we have been together, I already feel more confident knowing that Shadow will always be there to support me. I didn't know I could love and be loved like this by a dog before I met Shadow."
Welcome Back W-Litter!
We are delighted to welcome back to our Maui campus, Willow, Walker, Wrangler, Winnie, Wilson, Wesley (not pictured)! These wonderful W's were born last February and have spent the last year in puppy raiser homes in Hawaii and the Pacific Northwest. We are thrilled to have them all back to begin their advanced training. Winnie is the first of the littler to graduate, and is currently finishing up her Team Training Camp to become our newest Hospital Facility Dog graduate. We have high hopes for their future and are looking forward to seeing what other great things these W’s will do to help people in need!

PUPPY OF THE MONTH: Ava

Meet Ava, an outstanding student in the Basic Training class! Her sweet, sensitive and affectionate nature makes her a joy to be around. Ava is quick to pick up new skills and has already learned over 40 commands! She has been busy visiting the Boys and Girls Club, shopping malls, and nursing homes as part of her training. When she's not hard at work, you will likely find her playing with her sister, Annie, at the beach!
