The draft new Official Plan has been released for community consultation. 
Upcoming Events:
Ask a Planner Sessions 
Drop by to meet with staff from the City of Burlington's Planning Department, learn more about the Official Plan, ask questions and share your feedback in one of these two "Ask a Planner" sessions:
Wednesday, May 31st, 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.,

Draft land use policies on the south side of Plains Rd. East  
The City of Burlington is hosting a community meeting to talk about the future of the Residential Medium Density lands on the south side of Plains Road East between Cooke Boulevard and Filmandale Road.
The purpose of the meeting is to:
  • Consult on the draft new Official Plan policies related to the subject area; and
  • Obtain community feedback for consideration in the development of the proposed New Official Plan scheduled for Council adoption in the Fall 2017.

Other ways to get involved! 
There are a number of ways you can get involved and provide input to the preparation of the new Official Plan: 
Feedback will be collected on the draft new Official Plan until June 30th. Comments submitted before the June 30th deadline will be considered in the development of the proposed Official Plan for adoption by City Council by the end of 2017.

Mobility Hub Area Specific Planning
The Mobility Hubs Team is currently working to establish a vision for each of Burlington's Mobility Hubs, which include the lands in the Downtown and around our three GO stations.  In addition to the formal public consultations around the vision for each of the Mobility Hubs, the Mobility Hubs Team is available for consultation with key area stakeholders.
